No. The rotation runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib, and the file is read from your device into memory. Nothing is sent to a server, so confidential contracts, statements and scans stay private.

Yes. Every page starts selected, which rotates the whole document. Click a thumbnail to deselect it, or click to build up a custom selection so only the pages you choose are turned. Select all and Clear are there to reset quickly.

Three quarter-turns: 90, 180 and 270 degrees, applied clockwise. There is no free-angle or one-degree nudge, because PDF page rotation is defined only in 90 degree steps.

No. Rotation only updates each page's orientation value. The underlying text, images and vector graphics are untouched, so there is no re-compression and no loss of sharpness.

Each rotation stacks on top of whatever the page already has, wrapping around at 360. So rotating a page 90 degrees twice leaves it at 180, and a page already turned 270 that you rotate another 90 lands back at 0. This matches how most PDF viewers behave.

Some PDFs cannot be rendered to thumbnails. When that happens the tool shows a text box instead where you type the pages to rotate, such as all, or a range like 1-3, 5. The rotation itself still works normally.

Use 1-based page numbers separated by commas, and dashes for ranges, for example 1-3, 5 to select pages 1, 2, 3 and 5. Reversed ranges like 5-3 are read the same as 3-5, and numbers outside the document are ignored.

If the file opens without a password in your normal viewer, it will rotate here. A PDF that demands a password just to open cannot be read, and the tool reports that it could not read the file.

The tool adds a -rotated suffix before the extension, so report.pdf downloads as report-rotated.pdf. Your original file on disk is never modified.
