How do I convert a salary to an hourly rate?
Divide your annual salary by the number of paid hours in a year. At 40 hours a week for 52 weeks that is 2,080 hours, so a 52,000 salary works out to 25 per hour. Change the hours or weeks if your schedule differs.
How is the monthly figure calculated?
Monthly pay is your annual salary divided by 12, regardless of hours, so a 52,000 salary is about 4,333.33 per month. The weekly figure divides the salary by your weeks per year instead.
How is the daily rate worked out?
The daily rate divides your weekly pay by your working days per week, which defaults to five. At 1,000 per week over five days that is 200 per day.
Is this the opposite of an hourly to salary calculator?
