Frequently asked questions

How many options can the wheel hold?

Anywhere from two to many. Each option gets an equal slice, so the more you add the thinner each slice becomes, but the spin stays fair.

Is the spin actually random?

Yes. The winning slice is chosen with your browser's random number generator before the wheel animates, so every option has an equal chance.

Can I remove a winner and spin again?

Yes. After a spin you can remove the winning option with one click and spin the remaining entries, which is handy for drawing several winners in a row.

Are my entries saved or uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server, so your names and options stay private.

What happens with duplicate options?

Duplicates are kept as separate slices, which simply raises that option's odds of winning. Remove duplicate lines first if you want even chances.
