Online Stopwatch With Laps

A lap records a split time without stopping the clock. The stopwatch keeps running and the table shows how long that segment took plus the cumulative total elapsed at the moment you pressed Lap.

It displays time down to centiseconds, a hundredth of a second. Centiseconds are truncated rather than rounded, so the readout never jumps ahead of the real elapsed time.

The split is the duration of that single lap, measured from the previous lap. The total is the whole elapsed time up to that lap. The first lap's split and total are equal, and later splits are the gaps between consecutive laps.

Yes. It measures elapsed time from a start timestamp rather than counting interface ticks, so even if the browser throttles a background tab, the displayed time is correct again as soon as the tab is active.

Stop locks in the time run so far, and Resume adds a fresh segment on top of it. Because the total is accumulated from real timestamps, repeated pause and resume cycles stay accurate with no drift.

Once there are at least two laps, the fastest is highlighted in green and the slowest in red, so you can spot your quickest and slowest segments at a glance. Ties resolve to the first matching lap.

Under one hour the display is minutes, seconds and centiseconds like 05:09.00. At one hour or more it adds an un-padded hours field, so 65 minutes reads as 1:05:00.00.

No. The stopwatch runs entirely in your browser, nothing is sent to a server, and your laps are not stored after you reset or leave the page.
