How Many Days Until a Date

The count is the gap between the two dates, not an inclusive tally. The same date entered twice is zero days, a target one day ahead reads as one day, and a week ahead reads as seven days.

The tool divides the absolute number of days by seven. The whole part is the weeks and the remainder is the leftover days, so 197 days becomes 28 weeks and 1 day.

Set the target to this year's date for the event and leave the reference on today. If that date has already passed this year, set the target to next year's date to count down to the next occurrence.
