How are calendar quarters defined?
Q1 is January to March, Q2 is April to June, Q3 is July to September and Q4 is October to December.
What is a fiscal quarter?
A fiscal year can start in any month. If it starts in April, then April begins Q1 and the following March ends Q4.
Why does a fiscal Q4 show next year's months?
A fiscal year that starts in April runs into the next calendar year, so its Q4 covers January to March of the following year.
